What do you charge for the Initial Design Consultation?
We offer a fixed fee for our in home Initial Design Consultation. This consultation generally runs for 90 minutes and enables us to get to know you and develop a personalised interior design approach to your project. During this meeting we will also provide you with professional advice and recommendations.
We then prepare a detailed scope of works and design proposal outlining our design fees for your project.
The fee for this service is $440.

All Design Consultation prices are based on locations within a 20km radius of Elwood, Victoria.
How do you charge?
We prefer to provide you with a fixed fee based on the scope of works for your project (as established in the Initial Design Consultation). That way there are no surprises - you know what is included and the cost. Sometimes during a project additional works arise that fall outside the original scope, these are generally charged at our hourly rate. This will be made clear to you prior to the additional work being carried out.
Do you pass on trade discounts?
Any trade discounts we receive from our preferred suppliers are shared between you and Studio Stijl. The discounts vary from supplier to supplier and product to product, therefore so do the savings. The discounts we receive can be as much as 50% off recommended retail prices.
What geographical area do you work in?
We are based in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of Elwood and most of our projects fall into Bayside Melbourne and the Inner and Eastern and South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
What types of projects do you specialise in?
We specialise in Residential Design projects and offer a full range of interior design and associated services.
